@sloppyjoes7 There is no citizens arrest after the fact. She chased the man through the city streets and shot him. What is wrong with you?
27
Well he did say if he was in uniform so.... He's some kind of officer.
23
She literally said he pulled the trigger on my gun in my hand. The only way I can see that happening is if she was the one who got shot. Having shot a gun a few times myself kind of hard to pull the trigger from the other side.
13
@kroanosm617 then that's on him and it's the police's job to deal with it. It literally has nothing to do with her. And what happens when she gets involved? She murders an elderly man having a medical emergency who's not drunk. You're not right.
9
@isk8nyc No she wasn't. His car was stopped. And he had left away from her. She was not in any danger. And the police were already going after the guy. She literally took the law into her own hand to be a hero.

@kroanosm617 You're right it's not my call to run into a burning building to save kids because of the fire department isn't there yet. Doing so would be stupid and put the children and my life and then the future firefighters lives in danger. Which is exactly why the woman should have stayed put. Because she put more people's lives in danger. She murdered someone. He didn't. He had an a medical emergency that caused a car accident with no injuries. She caused stalking and murder. How is this hard for you people to get?
6
That is exactly what I'm hearing. She's stuck and murdered this man. My heart goes out to his family and everyone affected by this.

Her crime started the moment she decided to chase him from the scene of the crime. If you are in an accident you are not supposed to leave the scene of a crime. Why did she leave? Everything after that is her fault. These laws exist for a reason. In hopes of stopping people with road rage from stalking someone to their home and taking their life, since youtube protects criminals over their victims, in cold blood. Like this woman did.

@bobd2659 You do know there is a difference between following someone and going in the same direction as them right? You weren't following you were going in the same direction. Duh.
4
@sloppyjoes7 a citizen arrest must happen in the moment you cannot chase someone down and then citizen arrest them. That is not how it works. Stalking is a crime.
2
@joshuadavis9216 citizen arrest can be a real thing. Like the store that was being robbed and locked the doors so the criminal couldn't leave. That's citizens arrest. But chasing someone through the streets of a city and then pointing a gun at them and trying to force them to get out of their car that's not citizen arrest. That's stalking and murder .
2
@kroanosm617 Yes he was but he didn't. So he was a problem. So instead of not exacerbating the problem by having someone with road rage and a gun out there chasing him down they decided to do exactly that. Instead of having one person out there who broke the law they had it two people out there breaking the law. Yeah murder is against the law.

@artyomarty391 for a fender bender no but for a sedan slamming into a semi truck yes. Because that's a pretty serious accident. Especially when you've got multiple callers calling about it and someone chasing someone through the city streets. I mean it did end in murder didn't it? Sounds kind of serious to me!

In this instance she was too emotional to do anything but exactly what she did. The whole point of police is detachment. When you're mad that someone hit and ran your car they're not. They'll show up to his house and arrest him. You'll show up to his house and do it this woman did. Well if you're as crazy as this woman obviously.
2
@richcheckmaker It's a felony hit and run if convicted. Before a trial that's just what you're accused of. Since he had a medical emergency he would not have been charged with felony hit and run. Because it was literally an accident that he had no control over. Duh! I really wish you people would do some kind of thinking before you spoke.

@taxi615 Cool cool how about you stick with reality though. We're actually talking about this case not some imaginary man you just made up. Not everything is about men or women or gays or straights or Christians or atheists. Some things are just about the thing they're about. This is just about this woman. Stop bringing up race and sexism and all of this other bullshit! Stick to the freaking subject .

@oldmanemptyhouse7659 I wrote this before realizing that. That makes it even worse! She just stalked this man down and killed him. She had literally no reason to be following that man. He had done absolutely nothing to her. She made an assumption that he was drunk and was wrong and ended up murdering him! You go ahead and defend the murderer all you want but I'm not gonna!
1
Why do you have any sympathy for someone who chose to stalk a man through city streets and murder him? Any at all?
1
@sloppyjoes7 and again he murdered someone! Maybe if people actually listen to the 911 operator people wouldn't get murdered! Zimmerman is in fact a murderer. He murdered a child on his own street. I don't care what six white women had to say about it.

This. We need to expand our EMT services. It's absolutely ridiculous that a car getting into a automobile accident with a semi truck didn't have an EMT there within minutes.

@isk8nyc Are you honestly trying to claim there is no legal distinction between a medical condition and driving while intoxicated? Have you ever heard of someone going to jail for getting into a car accident because they had a heart attack? No you haven't. Because you don't control a heart attack. You do control how much you drink. Medical emergencies are literally an excuse for not being able to control your car. Bing drunk is you choosing not to be able to control your car. There is a distinctive legal difference.
