  1. Y'all seriously need to pay better attention. All this does is make it so that a cop has to look for a lease. As long as the squatter has been to the library and spent a dime on a photocopy he can get a fake lease printed from online. All this does is kick the can down the road a little. Cops can't tell the difference between a real lease and a fake one. It's still just going to be a civil matter. The criminals will learn!

  2. I don't understand why you say they ended squatters rights. They didn't. The squatter just needs a fake lease. Seriously I don't get why everyone's so excited about this. All this does is make it so the cops have to look for a lease. As long as a criminal is smart enough to go to a library or their baby mama house and print up a copy of a lease from anywhere they're fine. It's still a civil matter. I don't know why you people think criminals are all completely stupid but they're not. They're going to learn. The next rash we're going to have is a bunch of squatters with fake leases. Because then it's a civil matter!

  3. This law does very little to prevent squatting. All it does is make the cops look for a lease. As long as the squatter has spent a dime at the library and printed up a photocopy of a lease they're good to go. This law did nothing!
