TheCultCounter In my opinion we shouldn't be immigrating anyone. We have plenty of people. We don't need more. And if we do need more we can just make them. All legal immigration does is create more competition for American workers. Why should a company be allowed to hire a foreign citizen over an American citizen to work in America?

Here's the thing. Chicago and Illinois did listen to the citizens. They turned Chicago into a sanctuary city. They turned Illinois basically into a sanctuary state. Did you know illegal immigrants can be police officers in Illinois? Because the can. When your law enforcement doesn't even have to be a citizen of the country and can be a criminal themselves what chance does democracy stand? Illinois has been a tyranny for years now and nobody has noticed. Except for those living in the suburbs and the non-city areas of Illinois. We've fucking noticed!(I live in a non-city area of Illinois)

@@bingbong7so your friend's father took a job from an American citizen who was a skilled engineer with a masters degree? Fantastic! American citizens don't need jobs! Especially not some of the best paying jobs in the country! We'd rather give those to foreign citizens like your friends dad! My mom was also an experienced engineer with a masters degree and she had to compete with foreigners like your friends dad for jobs in her own fucking home country. Maybe your friend's dad should have stayed in his own home country and made it worthwhile. Instead of fleeing and keeping it the hell hole it was when he left.

@alexcampbell4297 if you're from Texas then you should know unless you're not paying any attention to what's going on around you. They're dealing with the same issues Texas's when it comes to illegal immigrants. Hi crime rates, welfare usage, needing the house them. Just look around. See the struggles the towns in your area are having with illegals? That's the same trouble Chicago's having. Because illegals are the problem not where they are.

That's the thing. The citizens did vote on it. They voted to give these people more rights than themselves. Did you know in Illinois an illegal can be a police officer? Because they can! Our law enforcement doesn't even need to be a legal US citizen! A Mexican, citizen of Mexico, can arrest you in Illinois!

@zeked4200 who said he's defending democracy? All he says is these people don't have the right to vote a second time on being a sanctuary city or that state officials can in fact stop it. Which they can if the state law is that illegals have more rights than citizens which it is.
