  1. Tenure is the worst thing I've ever heard of! If you're not good at your job you should lose it. I don't care how long you've been doing it. If anything that just begs the question have you ever been good at it? I went to school with a teacher who was about 80 years old Aunt death from age. Whenever she turned her back all of the students in the class would just out loud make fun of her. She was an elderly white woman and a majority black school. It was ridiculous she was allowed to continue teaching. But she had tenure!

  2. As a woman all I can say is if I don't have a say in the law I don't follow it. It does not apply to me. Last time I checked I'm not a subject to anyone. I am not owned. And whether or not it was a good idea to give us the vote we did. And now you can take it from my cold dead hands.

  4. It's not at all ridiculous to expect a human being to respond to a bell. Most of us do it every day. It's called our alarm clock. It's called teaching children to be responsible. This is why we have people showing up to work 20 minutes late thinking there's nothing wrong with it.

  5. And this is exactly why we need multiple different ways of teaching students. Not every student wants to be in STEM. But we're teaching artists and scientists as though they're the same. They're not. An artist isn't going to learn the way that you're suggesting and a scientist isn't going to learn the way an artist would. The problem with modern schooling is we treat every student identically. Your way is no better than the way that we're doing it because it will not work for every student.

  9. When I think of school choice I think of schools in inner city Chicago. Where the public schools have to spend most of their money on security to stop the bad students from being bad. The smart students and the good students get the short end of the stick. Because they don't get an education they deserve. So we're punishing good students for bad students behavior. It would be so much better if they could take their voucher and go to a better school that's further away where the money can be invested in their education since they're not going to be committing crimes against each other.

  11. My son is bisexual. I have told him repeatedly that's fine just avoid the community like the plague because they hate him. If it's not okay for straight people to try to convince gay people that the opposite sex is a viable option it's not okay for trans people either. And no it's not okay.
