Hire your own inspector! Just like any other employee they're going to say what their employer wants them to say. If you pay the inspector he'll tell you what's actually wrong with the house.

The definition of luxury in 2025 is not living at home with your parents. And your parents not needing you to live at home with them so they can pay the mortgage. Unfortunately in modern day having a place to live is in fact a luxury. Also I don't want to hear any of this shit coming out of New York City. A literal cubby hole costs $2,000 a month in New York City. Not living on the streets is luxury in New York City.

5:31 at least it's honest. There's tons of work in major cities that just plain and simply does not afford you being able to live on your own there. It isn't actually the business's fault. People need to realize not all jobs are going to pay a living wage especially in a major city where you need hundreds of thousands of dollars to survive.

In 2025 with the price of literally everything thanks to inflation that's everyone's luxury. Most people have to live in their parents home and they're happy with it. Why? Because then they have a place to live and their parents can afford the mortgage!

How are they supposed to lower prices when the ingredients cost more? When the employees cost more? When taxes cost more? When rent costs more? You're acting like inflation isn't a thing. It is. And yes they're going to make a profit. Because businesses exist to make a profit. They're not charities. They don't exist just to feed you.

There's no such thing as renovating somebody else's property it's just called destruction of property. Your landlord wanted the apartment in the way that he gave it to you. And it's his not yours. You're not renovating you're destroying.

I'm curious what these people think they're going to do instead of an inspector. Because hindsight being 20/20 they're claiming the inspector missed a bunch of stuff. Well clearly they missed it too. Are they just going to rely on themselves going forward? Because they're even dumber than the inspectors. They'll probably buy a house that's literally falling apart. Good thing is they won't have anyone but themselves to blame.

When people are literally breaking down your door to force their way into your country you can't be a hell hole. You may not be the world's best place but you're not a hell hole. That first woman bought a house she couldn't afford, didn't have it inspected, had a bad neighbor, and she's literally comparing it to living rent free. She wasn't smart enough to buy that house. And yeah having to pay for your own lifestyle is a bit different than having mommy and daddy pay for it. Why are we comparing apples to oranges?

There's an old saying. A rising tide raises All ships. And it's true. When the costs of things go up everything costs more! When you have to pay more for ingredients the final product cost more. When you have to pay more for employees the final product cost more! When you have to pay more in taxes the final product costs more! Businesses exist to make a profit. Their investors are going to get theirs. And we're going to pay it. If investors don't make a profit there are no businesses. Maybe stop voting for the people who spend spend spend?

Well since I'll lose my security deposit and possibly go to court for destruction of property no. Destruction of property is not renovation. You can only renovate what you own. If you alter something you don't own you're destroying it.
