But housing is an investment. Trying to turn something into something it's not doesn't really work. A house isn't just a commodity it's an investment. A house is in fact a luxury.

The definition of luxury in 2025 is not living at home with your parents. And your parents not needing you to live at home with them so they can pay the mortgage. Unfortunately in modern day having a place to live is in fact a luxury. Also I don't want to hear any of this shit coming out of New York City. A literal cubby hole costs $2,000 a month in New York City. Not living on the streets is luxury in New York City.

In 2025 with the price of literally everything thanks to inflation that's everyone's luxury. Most people have to live in their parents home and they're happy with it. Why? Because then they have a place to live and their parents can afford the mortgage!
