If what you said was true they'd only be removing self-checkout from some locations. Theft has gone up at all locations thanks to self-checkout. Because people do exactly what you say they can't do. Here's the thing... It doesn't work in high trust areas either. Because low trust people can travel to high trust areas. Y'all act like people don't know how to travel. If my store is too hard to steal from I'll go to the store one town over and steal from there. They don't work because they lower trust. If I can get away with something I might try. Even if I'm a good person. It's called temptation.

Remember when we all hated self-checkout because it was a store expecting us to work for them? Pepperidge farm remembers! And so do I! I still think self-checkout is stupid. I still think they should pay people to work. So I'm happy they're doing this. I think it's funny they're doing it because people keep robbing them but I'm glad they're doing it.
