That is honestly the fairest assessment.

And suicide is not murder. Killing yourself is not killing someone else.

Yeah we're not a democracy we're a representative republic. We don't vote on everything. We vote on Representatives who do vote on everything. Our Representatives voted to do this. Unfortunately most of our Representatives no longer represent us they represent their donors. Since 75% of their job is making themselves more money off of their donors.

I thought we were supposed to tear down the statues of the side that was on the wrong side of history? Have Democrats not realized the paint is on the wall and yet again they were on the wrong side of history? And according to them we should remove their symbols because they were wrong. They like to cover up their Confederate past don't they?

Exactly! They wanted black people to be able to commit counterfeit fraud and then to OD and put a cop in prison for it. Those are definitely special privileges.

It went to help black lives. The founders of blm. Those black lives. Their donations went exactly where they said they'd go. They just didn't ask which black lives mattered.

Why? The Confederacy was a foreign government and the Democratic Party. Why do we want to celebrate a foreign government or the Democratic Party?

@freespeechenjoyer oh so we should celebrate them for calmly ending the war they started to own 13% of our population? No. No we shouldn't. They shouldn't have started the war in the first place. Human beings are not property. No matter how much money you make off of them. I don't think our government should be celebrating a foreign government who tried to steal us land US citizens and for the war against the us. I don't care how they surrendered. We can give them a pat on the back for that. Not a statue or a name of a military installation. Why on Earth would we name military installations after insurrectionists? Actual insurrectionists?
1
@MalefaxTheBlack not celebrating something doesn't mean you're not learning about it. I don't celebrate slavery but I learned about it. Do you also celebrate slavery itself? Because that's basically what you're doing when you celebrate the Confederacy. You're saying yay we should have kept slavery!

@freespeechenjoyer actually there's always been times when certain people didn't care about people being offended. But tons of people still do care. Otherwise you wouldn't be having this argument now would you?
1
@minecraftfox4384 well that was stupid. Because when they joined the Civil War they became enemies of the united states. We should not be celebrating our enemies even after they surrender. And no I don't care about their feelings. That's not the government's job to care about your feelings. Go to a therapist if your feelings are hurt.

Then you weren't paying any attention to the differences between the parties. Democrats are allowed to get away with literal murder Republicans can't sneeze.

Trying to make something represent something it doesn't represent doesn't always work. Democrats and black people tried to make the riots that lasted a year and a half over a criminal who killed himself about civil rights. But you don't have the civil rights to commit counterfeit and then swallow an eight ball of drugs! No matter what color you are! So it was never about civil rights. It was always about black people being better than everyone else! And we're not stupid. As much as they wish we were we're not. Celebrating that criminal was a disgrace!
