@LoudmouthTrucking really our government doesn't include any form of physical force? Then why do we have police officers, FBI agents, CIA agents, armed IRS agents, or a military? If the government isn't allowed to use any force why do we have so many guns in our government? Why does the IRS need guns if the government isn't allowed to use force to enforce the law? Are you retarded? Serious question. Are you mentally challenged? Also a punishment would be your sentence. We're talking about getting you to the point of being sentenced. We have to use force to get you before a judge because people don't want to be judged. Because if they're judged then they can be punished. Police officers don't punish people. They catch them. Catching people requires force. Why you're talking about punishment I don't know. No one said police should punish people. We said they need to use force to capture them to bring them before a judge so the judge can decide what their punishment is. Also yes I do agree with you that police officers should be expected to know what the law actually is because you can't enforce it without knowing what it is. But that's a completely separate issue.
