  1. The judge shouldn't be a judge. What he allowed is not how the justice system works. He's just at precedent that if a prosecutor can't convict on their highest charge they can just dismiss it and go for another one. I wonder if they can't get it on the second highest it can dismiss that one and keep going.

  2. So does the judge who allowed it. Why are we ignoring the judge? He just set horrific precedent. If a prosecutor can't get you on the highest charge they can just keep trying you until they get a conviction.

  3. Unfortunately you're 100% right. If you defend someone else's life you may go to prison. How the hell was there a hung jury? This should have been an open and shut case. Hell it should never have gone to trial! We have a constitutionally protected right to defend ourselves and others!

  4. Thank you for including the judge! We're pretending like he's not the one who made the decision to allow it. Setting precedent! In New York City if the prosecution decides they want you to go to jail you're going to jail now. Because they get to keep trying you until they win.

  5. The prosecutor is bad but technically he's just doing his job it's the judge that's the major problem. He's just set precedent in New York City that if the prosecutor can't get you on the first charge they can dismiss it and go for another one. I wonder how long it can go. If they can't get it on the first one they can go for the second what if they can't get it on the 2nd can they go for the 3rd what if they can't get it on the 3rd can get they go for the 4th? Can they keep trying you until they get a conviction? Because that's not how our justice system is supposed to work.

  7. Well she's not in charge of a courtroom. She's in charge of prosecution. The judge was in charge of the courtroom and he allowed this setting precedent. Do you know anything about our justice system?
