Do you imagine that the Irish have many monuments to the English Invaders or the Viking Invaders or the Spanish invaders? Do you think the French have a monument to the German invaders? How about the polish? No? So then why on Earth do we have monuments to a foreign government that tried to overthrow our government on our government property? Do you people forget the Confederacy wasn't just our people it was a foreign government? One that literally fought a war with our government to take states away from us. So that they could continue to enslave American citizens. I don't mind The Monuments existing I just don't understand why our government would celebrate a foreign government that tried to overthrow it. And I completely understand why black people not a huge fan. Since they're being owned was the entire cause of this foreign government's existence.
