@kristinavb4398 Vinales is my preferred town for living in Cuba, it's so naturally nice and relaxing, the cost of living there is very low. It's a good place for Canadian retirees. The only things I don't like in Cuba are mosquitoes and hot weather.

@yolamontalvan9502 In Vinales, a decent clean tourist town in western Cuba, many restaurants there serving all sorts of Cuban and western foods. Half a roasted chicken meal with fresh green salad is only 60 CUP (US$2.50)! One 9-inch pizza 1 CUC (US$1). A meal with pork/beans/rice, and a soup, 40 CUP (US$1.6)! In the busy Havana main tourist district, a restaurant serves crab meat on rice and a fresh mango juice, about 50 CUP (US$2). Another restaurant just across the street serves meat stew on rice, about 60 CUP (US$2.50). If you think those are too expensive then go to government stalls to buy fresh foot-long mackerel fish for 10 CUP (US$0.40), 1 kg of bananas for 2.5 CUP (US$0.10), or a kg of real natural cheese for 80 CUP (US$3.40).

@lazarorusset8569 There's bottled water and electricity in all the places including rural areas. Only two rural places I stayed in had power outages for a few minutes, so I didn't have to wait long for power to come back. No power outage in any of the cities and towns I was in. There are many good restaurants everywhere and prices are very low, I ate well for just a few CUCs for a full meal.

@kumarm9221 I assume you lived 4 years in Canada? If so I agree, many places in Asia and Cuba are many times better than Canada, I have been living in Canada for over 50 years, never liked it, it is mostly unhappy unfriendly boring people, I will be moving to Asia or Cuba after I retire in a few years. Never will come back to Canada again if not needed to.

@johnb2422 There are many countries available for you to move to, but first you must find out what kind of country you like to live in, there are factors you must consider such as climate, safety, costs of living, environment, social conditions, religion, medical care, food security, government, public infrastructures and more. The hot tropical climate is not for everyone, some people prefer colder climates. Some people require higher quality medical care, not the low quality ones in developing countries. Then there is the job or income situation, not every country allows foreigners to work or have a business. If you aren't rich, I suggest traveling to different countries and work as an English teacher, many countries are hiring English teachers, some require higher education qualifications, and some are less demanding. You can earn at least your living expenses while working instead of using up your savings, then you can travel to different countries to see which one is best for you, after you have found the country you want to live permanently then you find ways to do that.
