@Wakamolewonder It wasn't called Egypt before it was called Egypt! America wasn't called USA before there was USA. It's silly to call America over a thousand years ago "USA".

@Wakamolewonder The name 'Mizraim' is the original name given for Egypt in the Hebrew Old Testament. Many Bibles will have a footnote next to the name 'Mizraim' explaining that it means 'Egypt. ' The name 'Egypt' itself actually comes to us from the Greeks who gave the Land that name (i.e. 'Aegyptos' from the Greek).

@Wakamolewonder At least the name Mizraim was mentioned long before the Greeks' Egyptos, and that term "Mizraim" but not the term "Egypt" exists during the time period what the archeologists speculate the Great Pyramids and Sphinx were built. Some of the scripts used in Old Testament written long before the Greek rule period. The Great Pyramids and the Sphinx were built before a great flood, but the much lower tech crude pyramids built by the so-called Egyptians show no sign of ever went through a flood, this also seperates the formers and the latters. The name "Mizraim people" should be used on the people living before the Greek rule period. Regardless whether Mizraim or Egypt, there's absolutely no record or evidence that the Great Pyramids and the Sphinx were built by any of those people. "Maya temples" is one example to show it's errorenous to use the current country's or people's name to represent something the current country or people didn't make. You never hear calling the ancient Mayan temples as "Mexican temples", that's because "Mexico" and Maya" are two different time periods, and possibly Maya had nothing to do with today's Mexico or Mexicans, despite that many today's Mexicans are actually descendants of Maya.
