@yaphonghor4409 That will never happen in India, it will get worse as its population gets bigger, its GDP per capita will decrease due to more and more people lacking employment and income sources. More people also means more mouths to feed and more resources required for them.

@abhisheksoni2980 The diamond industry in India will disappear soon because Chinese man-made almost-natural diamonds are the closest to natural diamonds in terms of composition, structure, refraction and hardness; better than natural diamonds in clarity and much cheaper. China was already the world's biggest industrial grade man-made diamond manufacturer 20 years ago, it has the technology. Now most people in the world are buying Chinese man-made almost-natural diamonds instead of real natural diamonds because of better looking and only a tiny fraction of the price. The drop in real natural diamond prices will only go down further year by year due to there's lesser demand and oversupply. Real natural diamonds are not rare, there's plenty mined and still in the ground, the supply and prices have been controlled by the very few diamond mining and distribution companies in the past century, now that China is producing high quality alternatives there's no more need for natural diamonds. This is just the beginning, China will be able to lower the cost of production even more, the prices will go down to only a few dollars for a carat of VVS D quality.
