China is the world's largest consumer, most of what China manufactures aren't exported but used up by its own people. China produced a record 31.4 million vehicles in 2024, representing more than one-third of all vehicles produced in the world. China also produced a record 12.9 million New Energy Vehicles, and 11.6 million of these were sold in China. More than two-thirds of the world’s electrified vehicles were made in China. Domestic vehicle sales in 2024 were 26.3 million units.

@MasterofPlay7 Only 20% of China's GDP is exporting, and less than 1/5th of that is export to USA, this means only less than 5% of China's GDP is export to USA. More than 60% of China's export goes to Asia, and the rest mostly to South America, Middle East, Russia, Europe, Africa and Australia. 80% of China's GDP is domestic. Most of its manufacturing is for domestic consumptions.

@MasterofPlay7 China doesn't depend on exporting to USA because it's only less than 4% of China's GDP. Over 60% of China's exports go to Asia. Moreover, China's entire exporting is only 20% of its GDP, China's domestic market is the most important at 80%. EVs are becoming China's most important export to the world but not to USA, rather it is mostly to Asia, South America, Middle East, Russia, Europe and Africa. The global demand for EVs is huge and China is the world's biggest EV manufacturer and exporter.

China's economy currently is growing at 5% positive growth without inflation, while USA's is only 2% minus 5% inflation which makes a negative growth. China can't keep up with the global demand for EVs, the waiting time for Chinese EV deliveries is getting longer, there are many back logs of Chinese EV orders. The world is on an EV buying craze right now, this will continue for at least the next 5 years until 90% of all new cars sold in the world are EVs, and most of them will be Chinese EVs.
