  1. Interesting. I was a teenager then, and don't remember this scandal or the Apollo 15 crew at all. In addition to comment on the pronunciation of "Gemini", Walter (Wally) Schirra's last name was pronounced by him as Shir-RA, with the accent on 2nd syllable.
