  1. Hear! Hear! I agree completely HistoryLegends. For example, I noticed that at ~15:50 it appears that the soldier on the right fires off 3 shots without working the bolt of his Mauser. Huh?! For those people below who question HistoryLegends' conclusions -- I ask them to quote chapter and paragraph from official histories, manuals and other contemporary accounts their basis for disagreeing. I've read thousands of pages of German, French, Russian and English language histories written by the people who were there, and written soon after the war. I've also read the different training manuals that described the tactics to be used. Incidentally these generally align with those tactics actually seen in the unit histories. This movie's representation of the actions and tactics aligns with virtually none of them. While it may be a good movie and inspirational to many, as history it's garbage. It's relation to history is about as close as the movie Avatar is to actual space travel.
