Neither do countless Electronic Music DJ's. But then along came Villy Manilly, and they did try to hide the fact. As you allude to , people go to concerts to see the performer PERFORM. If the majority of their performance is going to be pre-recorded, than we're going to be back to the awful TV performances of the 60's and early 70's. Performers need to keep in mind what their job is. It's no different than other skilled jobs in the economy. People are hired to use their skills. Would you want to go to a surgeon who can't handle a scalpel in the operating room? There is a huge difference between automation assisted, and automation.
