  1. I would also add Dan Fogelberg to the "Yacht Rock" list. Agreed that at the time the term was never used. Most of those artists kind of fell in that gap between "Soft Rock" and AOR, but with far better chops than many pop acts of the time.

  2. This prompted me to look up his in-period performance on the "Midnight Special" which can be seen on YouTube. In that performance the solo was turned up and you could watch him play.
