  1. I'm always amazed in my 986 at how well Porsche did the shock tuning. The shocks are firm at low shaft speeds, but soften up as the shaft speed increases. The result is a car that can that feel a little stiff at 20-30 mph, but becomes surprisingly compliant at 40mph and above.
