39 mpg??? What'd you do to the car to get such bad mileage?! We've got a 2012 coming up on 60,000 miles and the only time that our mileage has gotten as low as 43 mpg was when we started to use it regularly for 5 mile trips from cold. Otherwise we're usually up in the 45-47 mpg range. During all of those miles, we've never had a single issue with the car -- just get in and drive. Of the cars in our family, the fuel cost/mile for this car was lower than any other car in the family -- by a long shot. This even takes into account the higher price charged for diesel fuel compared to gasoline.
