@Bee-of9uu not Chinese history, but my niece was genuinely surprised that Stalin wasn't exactly the nicest of people. She'd been with us for about a year. Early 20's. I married a now former party member who came to Australia to study. It's been an interesting couple of decades. We're in Australia and were watching the Queen's funeral and it went to discussing history, colonialism, etc.
