@onbonb I mean like how you're the first poster to have had an opportunity to answer that simple question who didn't. Although thank you for highlighting that in the US, the leadership has to be seen as being better than at least someone.

But it's basically imagine if Trump had control of the media, control of the internet, control of the courts, control of the legislature, could appoint whoever he liked to whatever other government post he liked, was able to purge his opponents and was able to do whatever he liked to people do disagreed with him. Plus had something like the global times to do his ranting for him (although I think this is a privilege he'd want to keep for himself) That worst case caricature of an anti Trumper is literally the position Xi is in.
