  1. I was married in traditional Chinese clothing in North East China and taught to make jiaozi (Chinese dumplings) and baozi (steamed buns) by her. Which is a very small part of what makes idiots who go on about cultural appropriation fun to play with.   10. @Andrew Manche that's the same excuse you could give to the person who gave me a Mac as a workstation, or developers who still insist on only developing an administrative page for internet Explorer, or the French. It's a slippery slope, yes, but it's a slope made slippery by the oils of bad decisions (the French chose not to be English) and deserve the punishment of the righteous (me, specifically) Or it was a comment made because the alternative was me accepting I was wrong on a small technicality, and is mass murder really worse than that?
