  10. It's too small to be that. The PRC's biggest problem is rooted in hubris that's a result of its history (no longer its present) of having the most people.

  12. I went there for the first time a few months ago. It was utterly brilliant. Like the PRC was 20 years ago, but without its fatal flaws (its size)

  15. The PRC's big issue is that its sheer size led to hubris. Its leaders and people thought they were big enough they they were entitled to do and take what they like

  16. The PLA tried to invade Vietnam after the war. And since then they've been stealing from its exclusive economic zone.

  19.  @pikachus5m166  the fighting bit might have. But: 1. It happened. It's just that in Vietnam's case, they did extremely well (like they did against the Khmer Rouge) 2. China's theft of Vietnamese territory continues to this day. Look at the nine dash line. 3. They know what happens if the CCP is dominant.
