@Nobleheart111 what you said shouldn't need to be pointed out, because it's so obvious. But then, if you're the sort of person who doesn't need blindingly obvious stuff pointed out in a way that would make a toddler feel patronised, you probably aren't supporting the CCP.

How is referring to a white guy who's dead as a dead white guy racist?
1
As an Australian, I'll just laugh at you.
1
I just looked that up, but can't find anything supporting that.
1
Shanghai looks fine. But that's not the entirety of the PRC. The economic heartland will go last. Although its international terminal is turning into a ghost town. Shenyang is dying (tier 2 city north of Beijing) . The business area is just emptying.
1
Is being mortal a pejorative now?
1
You need to work on your English. It's nowhere near the level of someone from an English speaking country. Anyway, I'd suggest you ask that yourself, except you're telling people in the US to ask questions that are illegal to honestly answer in the PRC.
1
@Psyfertospsb sure. When the topic is the US.
1
@WingkKong when you look at how.... Incredibly old... Asia is going to look over the next century, it's better to say we're entering the Asian centenarians than century.
1
@WingkKong that's nice. Does nothing to contradict that you grew old before you grew rich. And once automation means that your large population isn't needed.... Why china?
1
@monky_dust much more than you do, if you're trying to suggest western nations are in the same boat as the PRC.
1
@monky_dust I'm going to need you to quote me when I said that. Also, thank you for highlighting something the West can do that the PRC can't. But to put the comparison into perspective. The births per thousand in the PRC now are almost half what they were in 2014. And over half are second or third children. This means that the PRC has had a decline in birthrates of between two thirds and three quarters in a mere decade. To maintain the current 2:1 worker to dependent ratio (down from 3:1 in 2011), the PRC needs 30 million working age immigrants for just last year. Coming years are going to be much worse. What's the largest Western economy that's in a similar situation?
1
@monky_dust your post was completely lacking in an answer to any of my questions. And there's a reason for that.
1
@WingkKong Chinese products are cheap because Chinese people are cheap. That's something that stops being an advantage when automation improves.
1
@WingkKong the reason Chinese products are cheap will be destroyed as automation improves. So when that happens.... Why China?
1
@WingkKong because supply chains can't change? and engineers don't follow the money as this happens? And I'm going to laugh at still going on about 5g as it it's something special. What year you do think this is?
1
@WingkKong I remember hearing that five years ago, when people were saying the declining birthrates weren't a problem, because the govt would fix it soon. That was when the birthrate was over 50 percent higher than it is now. The clock's kind of ticking on this one.
1
@WingkKong it's fun watching you ignore the impact of people growing older. Although it might be a sincere mental disability that requires having something this blatantly obvious get explained, rather than the dishonesty required to support the CCP. So lets test. Would you like to have this incredibly basic thing explained to you? Or would you prefer to skip to the next talking point you can't begin to support?
1
@WingkKong ah, you chose to be seen as dishonest rather than imbecilic.
1
@WingkKong oh, I missed your post about China having more young people. Yes. But unless you're going to start making euthanasia part of the retirement party, they'll have their hands full keeping their elderly alive. This shouldn't have needed to be pointed out, but because you're a wonderful candidate for both categories, here we are.
1
@monky_dust it's fun when you suggest examining European nations, but run away from an open invitation to pick the biggest economy you think is worth examining.
1
@WingkKong it's hilarious that everything you say has been so beaten down that your only hope is platitudes that make you feel special. Here's what's going to happen to your best: They're going to leave. Because why would someone with talent want to give his life to a nursing home? You won't, though. Your retirement will be spent in poverty. Enjoy 😁
1
@monky_dust bollocks it is 😊 Your only interest is in trying to find a way to say that other countries are in an imperfect state as a way to deflect criticism from the barbarians in Beijing.
1
In 2014, in the last year of the one child policy, there were 17 million births. Last year, there are 9 million. Over half of them were second or third children. A two thirds to three quarters reduction in people deciding they can have children in a mere decade isn't a collapse? You lost the race to get rich before you grew old.
1
I'd heard this same thing, saying it was yesterday. I searched for news articles within the last week and can't find it.
1
Technically correct!
1
I was looking at getting one recently. Then a trip from Hengzhou to Nanjing by EV cured that. So I started looking at hybrids. And the question I couldn't answer was..... Why? Sure, they're nice, but it's not a game changer. The thing that I want a car to do has been done by cars for the last century. The rest is a nice to have (and the stuff I care about most is available on a petrol powered car)
1
@sonnyeastham it's sad that you need to have ratios explained to you. But it's a common learning disability amongst pro CCPers
1
Now subtract the number of those that were made in China.
1
It's wonderful when they're all working age with barely any children. After a few years, however......
1
This EV obsession is like the 5g obsession. It's nice and all that, but it's not the game changer people hype it up to be.
