@gregorboca90 given that's the only thing that seems to matter, my guess is yes. No other part of an economy is relevant. As long as petrol is cheap, everything is sunshine and roses.

If those crash, they'll feel poor. If they feel poor, they'll act poor and start saving for a rainy day. If they do that, they'll stop buying stuff, if they stop buying stuff, there's more economic slowdown, more people losing jobs or having their jobs at risk, more people saving for a rainy day that looks like it's coming very soon, more stopping of buying stuff, more economic slowdown and so on and so on.
