  5. Done that plus three hours of muay thai a few times a week for the best part of a year. Everything about it sucked except the results. If it was two days in a row of vegetarian and salad, I'd get black around the edges of my vision by the end of an exercise session. If I had problems moving in the morning it was a sign I should probably grab breakfast. Probably the only thing that made it bearable was that sleeping tablets worked best on an empty stomach. That and the weekends, which was Brazilian buffet one day and all you can eat wings the next. Five years later I can still easily go two days without eating. Which I'd had to do a few weeks ago after finding out why you need to be careful about putting a ring on in air conditioning. Every trick failed. It took two days of fasting to allow my finger to deflate enough to get it off.

  9. Growing up with a mother from new Zealand it was lambs brains pan fried with batter. I still laugh at thinking of the horror of a school friend who stayed the night. Three decades later, he hasn't forgotten either.

  10. ​ @NoNameNoFace-rr7li yeah. I miss it. The only place I've had it since childhood was an Indian restaurant in Tsim Sha Tsui in Hong Kong. Lovely. And now I want liver and bacon.
