  2. Well-stated on all points. We had a similar upbringing. My parents lived through the Oklahoma Dustbowl, the Great Depression and WW II. I lived to never disappoint them or let them down, though sometimes I did. They both taught me and my brother that squandering the earth's natural resources is wrong. They died six weeks apart after 60 years of marriage. I miss them every single day.

  5. I have never eaten a "circus peanut" but now that I know they are banana flavored, I'll get right on it. I like candy corn, but don't need it more than once per year at Halloween.
