  3. Exactly. The nanny is whiny and pathetic. Katie is a respected journalist whether all the hateful women on this page are capable of recognizing it or not. As for the nanny, this video showed sweet notes from Katie, thanking her, and the nanny was even included in the family name section of the Christmas card. Last time I checked, most nannies don't typically receive that level of thanks. Katie did not take the nanny for granted, and I bet the nanny was paid handsomely.

  5.  @Clutching.My.Pearls  I admire her. She helped pave the way for a lot of women in journalism, and rose to the top of her game. I just don't think her observations about her nanny are earthshaking in terms of what one usually finds in a memoir. Seems people look for any reason to sharpen their knives.
