  3. Since I retired a few years ago Ive been traveling across our Country.... I did have to fly around our country for work but it's Not the same as driving like you guys... I don't RV or camp but stay at hotels too... Not the cheapest way but still get to learn n see how people from all walks of life live.... I Never Judge people n pretty much are like you guys look for the good .... Alabama n Mississippi surprised me how nice the people are towards a Yankee that moved to NC almost 3 yrs. ago... I'm Not into Politics but will say when driving into a states ya can tell if their a Blue or Red State... Not going to say how ya can tell right away which way a state leans but will say when I see Women carrying pink pistols on themselves I do feel much safer going into stores n places... Also gas is cheaper along with other basic needs in these states.... Rural vs City folks ?? Rather be in a country setting than downtown main street in a City.... I needed a new battery for my Toyota SUV and while looking for an Auto-Zone needed a jump start.... A guy with a beard, long haired n missing teeth pulled up in his old pick-up saw my tags kinda felt unease at the moment said : Hey Yankee You Need Help ?? Even with my new NC tags, lol. Don't have a CCW yet but said I need a jump to get to Auto-Zone he popped his hood and jumped my rice burner n followed me to get my new battery about a mile or so away.... He even used his cables too.... He wouldn't take any money but I did say to his 20 yr. ish daughter here 50 bucks you n your Dad go get a good dinner for you n your Family.... When we were leaving his daughter must have told him I gave her some dinner money.. He looked at me n turned to his daughter n smiled n tipped his Bass-Pro hat... True story..   4. I fish near by this area and know who runs the town n lives there..... One shouldn't even drive through here after dark.. Most of Florida is booming not in this place.. be well.

I know people go to Nogales Mexico to get cheap dentists but now since the country is really controlled by drug lords don't think would be a good idea.... Remember shooting rifles over by the mountains that we just bought at Weaver.... Can't believe how much money these people are costing Texas with no help from current Administration.. smh..   13. I've traveled around almost all 50 states and have to say NC has Oceans, Farms, Fields n Mountains.... Why I bought a house there, lol. Beautiful state to live in.... be well.

  14. As a long time sub and traveler I see the cities n small towns rotting away.... If it wasn't for Dollar General n Wally World it would be worse.... But Not having real hospitals, doctors, basic needs keeps me in the Burbs.... Local level elections is where everything starts from.... Safe travels Joe n Nic..

  17. My friend bought up large chicken farm not too far away n wants to turn into a Hunting Lodge n Fishing Place.....When I drove though this area I said good luck to him.... There's not much going on in this part of Arkansas... be well.

  18. Hey Joe n Nic.... Carson City n Virginia City are really really nice places to visit.... V.C. has soooo much history and places of interest I like the store front door ways each had their date on the bottoms of the doors, the graveyards, people n way of life.... made a few videos about V.C. even petting donkeys waking through the graveyards excellent town.... Better than most of the "Old West Towns"..... Carson City has everything history wise Governors house n a Train Museum we stayed there n went to Lake Tahoe n V.C..... Reno we were disappointed how run down it's gotten with women walking the streets at noon time.. smh. Took a few old train rides around V.C. and checked out Lake Tahoe both Nevada n California sides n what a difference between the 2 states.. Like northern Nevada better than L.V.... Glad we moved n sold our ranch that was in our family over 118 yrs.... Now we are in NC and happy with 176 acres.. be well.
