  1. Perhaps one should practice "living off the land" on Antarctica first as that will be 10k time easier that living on Mars. I fully support the mission, can't wait to see it happen, but it's going to be one foreboding, desolate place where many are sure to get sever cabin fever if they are fortunate enough to survive for long. I would love to visit briefly (not an option) but NO WAY it's going to replace Earth except for those who never leave the house anyway perhaps.
