The subsidies bit is highly misleading, Tesla never lobbied nor advocated subsidies (GM did) they suggested instead to eliminate fossil fuel subsidies or a carbon tax to partially level the playing field. The DOE loan Tesla received was paid back with early penalties and interest, GM and F got 50X bigger loans that they will never be able to pay back. Tesla declined a Euro $1.5B grant and apposed similar from the BBB bill. Plus Elon paid $11B just in income taxes just for last yr that's vastly beyond any "assistance" said companies received. SpaceX saved taxpayers $100's of millions.

  41. US numbers were automatically inflated due to incentives, med institutions were paid to label a fatality Covid regardless that said individual was morbidly obese, dying of cancer or cardiovascular disease or whatever but also had Covid.
