  3. I've seen them set up highly organized disciplined traffic pattern to harvest an erupting anthill (when ant nest sends out one winged (queen?) after another). They take turns out of some 50 dragonflys in a circuit, very impressive, they orbit in well defined pattern without competing with eachother, if they happen to be lined up for flying ant as they pass over they get their snack otherwise maybe next time around. They just keep making the same circuit, no doubt every one of them was well fed after an hour or two.
