IDK but lead exposure has been know to be very detrimental since Roman times, removing it from gasoline dramatically dropped blood lead levels in Americans, there is no known 'safe level' of exposure, more is just worse.

Could be but it's actually the best argument against guns, to remove that objection isn't all bad. I use quite a few pellets around my yard and will not use any leaded types, small price to pay to keep my garden soils "clean".

NOT good to be spreading lead across the landscape, I use nothing but un-leaded pellets in my yard. It's actually the best argument against guns, taking it away might be a good thing.

@KnOnHeavensDoor Lead is nasty stuff to consume even in very small quantities. It's irresponsible to taint the entire landscape with it, it gradually spreads in the soil and will be there for thousands of yrs. Radioactivity is irrelevant.

@KnOnHeavensDoor I'm not one to pretend moral superiority, done plenty of stupid things in my youth with barely a thought. Worst was probably gun play in this context. It's the thoughtlessness and ignorance that's the problem--in my personal experience.

@StevenRogers-hw9dj I don't care about Leftists in this instance, I've always leaned Libertarian. Skepticism is always the default position but the science on this is way older than any politics in existence. Not going to try to convince you, just something to be aware of, lead exposure makes ppl dumb, impulsive and more prone to violence. As mentioned, even the Roman's recorded such effects and it can be a problem in some old American neighborhoods for children. Good luck to you.
