  1. Crucial to me is a positive shaft lock, easy to use and doesn't 'kick out' when backing a wheel off nor get rounded easily from abuse. Some shaft locks are too recessed or stiff or button too small for easy use with welding gloves, those issues frustrate the hell out of me. I have NO use for guards as they cripple utility and make wheel changes difficult, I go back and forth from wire cups, wire blades to multiple size and types of rigid wheels or cutting discs constantly, it must be tool free and quick.
