  1. Back in the bad ol' days ('60's, to '80's at least) it was normal to leak and burn oil, one would check it at every fueling and you'd see small puddles in every parking space.

  2. Good info! As fast as a yr. goes by I can easily overshoot on less used vehicles and I'm a big believer in clean fresh fluids.

  4.  @Iowa599  At least motor oil is easy to add, my '96 Chevy C3500 HD 1-ton service truck is slinging trans oil out the rear, just the seal but still a small pain in the ass.
