  1. Did a class project on bicycle stability in Mech. Engineering class--it's surprisingly complex and difficult tho I managed to understand and explain most of it. It was entirely optimized via trial and error and can't be improved on, it can only provide trade offs between, say quick handling and high speed stability. 5 or 6 geometric/mass factors involved.

  2. I wouldn't know, haven't tried them more that a dozen X this century. If cooked in seed oil they are extra toxic.

  3.  @kayakMike1000  Right. Sort of in my old stomping grounds, it was a some 150 yr old mystery, no one could figure out, then this mundane solution from, I believe, an unmanned cam setup to watch. Desert temps swing wildly between night and day so about as soon as the sun rises the thin ice layer usually disappears, making the phenomena extra hard to detect. (I didn't bother with this vid)

Highly processed foods in general are primary cause of all the killer metabolic diseases, common today that were rare to nearly nonexistent just a century ago. Cardiovascular, diabetes, autoimmune, inflammation, even joint pain, chronic fatigue, etc, etc...all largely optional...obviously obesity which was rare just 50 yrs ago now the norm. We've been lied to, Food Pyramid is roughly inverted, American Heart Association--bought by Crisco from the start, promoted the very hazards they pretend to guard against.

  5. My brother witnessed it traveling down a barbed wire fence as a young kid so I've always accepted it's existence. I believe that one was orange and around the size of a basketball.

  6. Close but not quite--the ice captures the rocks and acts like a sail in the wind, dragging all the rocks thru the mud on nearly identical trajectories. Ice acting as a "sail" may sound unlikely but just as wind causes ice to pile up on the shores of Great Lakes on occasion, a big enough surface area in strong wind, concentrated, can be forceful.

If it only lasts 10 or 15 seconds it's unlikely to get it on cam until recent yrs when everyone carries one.

  10.  @cproteus  I don't care how you label them--who insisted on blind obedience to Authoritarians like Fauci, promoted the Russian Collusion conspiracy theory for their opponent with the aid of the Establishment (writ large), embraced the tyranny of the FBI, DHS Ministry of Truth, censorship of anyone slightly off the one true narrative? Who along with most corporate and all social media cheered on or participated in the silencing of everyone not like them? Via the FBI infiltration of Twitter, FBI paying all social media, FBI in collusion with ALL MEDIA covered up a massive corruption scandal for a yr to control a presidential election results? On and on and on... Who promoted forced injections, vaccine passports and insane unscientific shutdowns? What governor just passed a law criminalizing doctors from deviating from the official dogma on vaccines? (hint--Cali) Who claims to "be the science" of all ironies? How about the political prisoners for Jan 6, no due process just locked up for their party affiliation? Who in Canada vilified peaceful protestors, confiscating bank accounts and the rest? Who's driving the 'social credit score', (politically correct of the moment) that drives sane sober moral ppl outside the main stream economy due to PayPal and banks cutting them off or robbing them, to create a parallel economy? How long before it comes back around to YOU?

  11.  @cproteus  Trump sucked too and was weak like the conservatives in general, albeit reluctantly he went along with Fauci and the shutdowns to a degree. He failed to drain the swamp but sure put a spotlight on it. Beyond that what's your point? He didn't collude with the FBI to subvert the Constitution, censor opposition and control elections.

  12.  @cproteus  BTW--Fauci perjured himself in front of Congress, funded the Wuhan lab that created and released (apparently) the virus and is the definition of Authoritarian, "I am the science", lied about everything to the ppl, an unelected authority pulling the strings while profiting from the results of his advocacy. And we weren't even allowed to challenge him or the vaccine, the origins of the virus or treatments outside Big Pharm profit pipeline, shutdown insanity.... Censored here on YT, FB, Twitter, etc., etc.....
