  4.  @seangleason260  I've never identified with either party (lean Libertarian) but the government/institutional response to protests contributed to my becoming hardcore antiLeftist. Was a time for a long time that R's were biggest threat to free speech and liberties in general, Patriot Act was bipartisan but more R and is partially responsible for political prisoners in USA today.

  9. Stalin must have indeed "remade the nature of man" in the region, to some degree. He specifically selected the best, anyone with a spark in their eyes was slaughtered, even those whom supported him as they could become a threat to him. This is genetic selection as much as individual attribute selection that surely will have long term consequences.
