  8. There is nothing wrong with admitting a change of mind and TSLA was a crappy investment for the last 4.5 yr.s, it's been dead money, not a great short and a lousy long. Only traders have been able to gain from it. I believe that's going to change and own a modest chunk (as a percentage of my account) of TSLA starting a couple days prior to earnings report. Shorts are a good thing and one of the reasons I went long.

  10.  @abhipatil1618  Short sellers are not one monolithic entity, they are multiple individuals and institutions and they are a necessary part of healthy markets. Some may want "to destroy Tesla" but so what, they can't do anything but keep it honest and push down the share price TEMPORARILY unless they have a real legal case against it. Those who want to purchase stock today benefit by the shorts error (if it proves to be a mistake) as we get a discount and later the stock will rise more due to the shorts failure. Embrace it. It's ignorant and childish to pretend shorts are going to hurt Tesla in the long run.
