@crocodilegrundee4514 Obviously it wasn't solely on Trump but it was his initiative and he has recently bragged about the $2k more coming on Twitter. I'm only pointing out the laughable hypocrisy of Trumpers banging on about socialists as the devil while completely ignoring inconvenient reality. I was reluctantly rooting for anything to avoid Great Depression 2.0....I'd pay even more for that is a big understatement. I also champion the apparent newbie involvement in stock markets tho I fear many/most will be blown out permanently if they treat it like a casino. The broader the involvement the healthier capitalism and the nation will be...I hope many learn how to INVEST not just gamble. Shutting down is/was a colossal mistake but the pandemic all by itself would have wrecked restaurants, travel, hotels, etc, to a large degree. People were simply going to avoid those businesses by choice. And governments are always at least partially responsible for economic conditions but it's new for DC and it's certainly socialist!

Perhaps it's Trump's extreme socialist policies they love--these massive handouts to the recklessly irresponsible living paycheck to paycheck. He's buying support just like Bernie does.

@Helicopterpilot16 Living hand to mouth as a life style (all of us have done it briefly) is incredibly reckless. If they are handicapped or mentally challenged sure it may be excusable SORT OF. Living below one's means no matter how much they make is essential. I know of a guy who was saving and investing even when living in his worthless car earning peanuts, but of course he's very wealthy today. Anyone on the dole should be on mandatory birth control, it's obscene that those who can't even take care of themselves are reproducing...obviously that's not politically feasible tho.

Legal American We have the rule of LAW in America. The toxic false narrative of the BIGGEST LOSER on Earth, aka., Trump is your master even tho he loathes you pawns.

Legal American It must be infuriating for many Trump supporters (I support him too on some issues) to see the most radical SOCIALIST policies in the history of America presided over by Mr. T. Massive handouts that make Roosevelt's New Deal look mild.

It must be infuriating for some of you to witness Trump become the most radical SOCIALIST in American history with these massive handouts to the recklessly irresponsible living paycheck to paycheck. T. is purchasing support just like Bernie does.

@liberty_over_security9219 I agree with your priorities which is why I don't align with a party but instead judge by the individual canidates they are. Congress went along with Trump's socialist agenda yes. I'm not suggesting it was WRONG pre se, beats a 2nd Great Depression, but I'm not thrilled with bailing out the irresponsible who made it necessary. Nor do I like much socialism but it's always a matter of degree, I don't even hear Trumper's wanting to end SSI or Medicare, etc. My modest shack is long paid for, I live WELL below my means, I don't need Trump's handouts but I do need a functioning nation like everyone else.

@ronhill1908 So you got nothing, uneducated and mired in poverty too no doubt. Blame it on Mexico, blame your failure on anything but your own choices and actions while many of us will continue to thrive and enjoy wealth.

What a bunch of socialists here. But I guess that follows since Trump presided over the most extreme socialist polices in American history with massive handouts to support the recklessly irresponsible living paycheck to paycheck.
