Trouble is both the FAA and US aerospace in general have apparently gone DEI, you won't escape the dangers that easily.

@angie99656 Yes it's responsible for inept management across the board. Ask any employee or ex-employee, top to bottom management has gone to hell at Boeing, the most clueless useless ppl are made managers. Why does the fact that Meritocracy works, and identity and racism doesn't, trigger you? Isn't it obvious the only way DEI can possibly playout is destruction of everything it infects?

@angie99656 Go to the FAA website and see what their expressed priorities are: "'A safe inclusive work environment....'" Nothing about the mission to keep air travel as safe as possible, nor experience or aptitude. It's pathetic. The woman in charge of the FAA has minimal background in aerospace, she's completely incompetent. But HEY!--she's a woman! Only way to improve on that is a Downs Syndrome, obese, colored gay or trans woman, hmmm? The irony of you calling me racist when DEI is racist by definition.
