Ending the futile, insane prohibition on prostitution would be a relatively easy step in the right direction too. The law should be protecting them not punishing them. Unfortunately toxic religions and indoctrination prevents such acceptance.

Starting as a kid, mowing lawns taking care of big fancy homes, golf course drive range ball boy, bicycle mechanic, mine mill laborer/mechanic, to career of my own little industrial contracting biz-- NEVER felt I was "prostituting myself" with one borderline exception.

@aaratijagdeo8227 Of course. Most of that would be solved by doing it like Nevada does. I was looking at it from a prospective employer, or anyone who cared to take an chance and help her go a more productive direction, what concerns would be on top of list. Some prostitutes, I assume a minority, like their work (I've talked to a couple), she doesn't seem to be one of them to state the obvious. I'd want to see determination to change directions before hypothetically investing in that effort...just as anyone else would. If she really wanted to continue renting her bod then at least move to Reno or Vegas where it can be done safely and still very lucrative....especially for one as attractive and decent as her.

@aaratijagdeo8227 Stating she deserves XYZ is not even a first step towards a solution tho. Apparently US foster care system needs a complete overhaul but that's just an observation, also not solution without a detailed plan. I agree she seems like a quality person especially given her tragic life experiences. At this point one would need to see that she can be sober, honest and reliable for decent employment, there should be opportunities available but they won't pay anything like she's accustomed to.

Single mother's only child, friend of my mom and neighbor, was last seen shot out of a sling under helicopter over the jungle. My oldest brother only couple yrs too young to be drafted, he knew too much and must have been considering Canada, but IDK.

INVEST!!! Sounds stupid, way down the list, but I keep thinking how these girls could invest at least half their earnings such that they'd be financially independent (prosperous everyday millionaires) by 30. The ONE thing I could offer that hasn't already been said better than I could.
