@freestylefranc2653 It has nothing to do with Tesla except that the occupants of car couldn't exit after crash, which is common to modern cars in general but probably needs to be addressed as the safest cars on the road should account for everything possible. Or maybe you want to limit the acceleration of vehicles to suit unskilled reckless drivers?

Not the beginning of anything--bullshit FUD has been rampant for a decade and reckless drivers are not new. This entire story is base on a false premise.

@freestylefranc2653 Everyone's car is a missile already and MANY are distracted dangerous, unskilled drivers. FSD will erode the 40,000 killed nationally and couple million globally until eventually road fatalities will be almost as rare as airliner crashes....near zero. You won't even be allowed to drive your own car on public roads one day, with the exception of antiques. You'd have said exactly the same thing when automatic elevators began to replace elevator operators. Remember those?

@paulsnow1289 Even as a petrolhead I'll take a batt fire over the instant fully engulfed typical gasoline fire if I'm in the damn car...any day.
