  1. Yeah they really screwed the pooch in recent yr.s in multiple ways. (I'm in NorCal) Including triggering fires that burned down our neighbors towns although those disasters were going to happen one day anyway given the conditions on the ground, lack of proper land management.

  2. I'm considering a batt pack for my service truck, it would stand in for a 20 to $30k diesel gen. I need multiple output options including 440v 3-phase AC. Anyone have any expertise in this area?

  3. I don't get why it's some $9k for such limited storage compared to a vehicle battery of similar cost.

  4.  @TwoBitDaVinci  Thanks! I sort of realized that plus extra hardware. My immediate interest is 2 to 4X plus powerwall cap for service truck. Likely not viable to use Tesla products at this point, I need 3-phase 440 inc. One day they'll offer a job site series for trailers and trucks to replace noisy dirty current gen sets. Worth $20k easily to me if high cap. Far easier than a car but as long as they are batt constrained it's probably a non-starter.
