Bit of trivia: S Plaid rated at some 1124hp but independent dyno at 1225hp. Yes they fudge the 2.0 second slightly but other models usually exceed claimed acceleration.

Excellent review. As an American TSLA long, but old BMW lover :D ....seriously appreciated the "completely premium car" criticism. Elon said the seats in the original Model S were garbage. They are improving fairly fast in those areas. Service often still sucks too.

Some say the steering wheel requires considerably more rotation to steer than other cars in it's class. Have you noticed that or does it matter?

Thanks, I posted that before finishing your comprehensive video. Many refinements are needed apparently, it is still sort of the "beta version" I suppose. The somewhat harsh ride quality has been noted by others as well. You attributed much of that to the larger wheels but there must be more to it than that. Very useful review by you!

I haven't been too impressed one way or the other on X aesthetics, slightly unpleasant if anything, but this one looks REALLY good! (since you asked) :-)

No license plate where I'm from, rural USA, means you can get away with more on the street. HA! Great ending.

Form follows function. Therefore for ME the Polestar loses on aesthetics, especially the front, loath fake grills and crap...total lack of imagination. It's about AERODYNAMICS Useful review Sir.

@autogefuehl Thank you! Actually it was more than useful and quite unique in focus points.

Think I'd much prefer the more environmentally friendly real leather but nothings going to please everyone.

@autogefuehl Appreciate the feedback, I was a tad tongue in cheek. The argument about deforestation, etc., is like slave labor for cobalt for batteries, you don't need to source it randomly and recklessly. Many responsible outfits raising beef in ways that benefit the land and they are happy critters with only one bad day in their lives. Slightly similar to the Serengeti, or N. America before European's arrived when as many buffalo roamed symbiotically with the landscape as we have cows today (granted most in factory farms which are ugly in everyway, need not be done that way). Livestock can be highly complementary to an integrated farm if managed properly. I know it's the Dogma of the Day but also very ignorant: "livestock is BAaad" You can't have livestock w/o deadstock, wildebeest also have at least one very bad day when taken by a croc. or lion or starve to death, but they too are integral to the landscape.

@autogefuehl You should definitely NOT consume any soybean products (I don't) as that is one of the worst contributors to Brazilian wild land degradation. They aren't healthy for males anyway.

@autogefuehl What if you gave those animals a great life, with ONE bad day? A life they wouldn't have had and done in a symbiotic fashion with the landscape, large herbivories are crucial to many lands.
