Houses were tiny, basic and cheap. Today everyone is entitled to everything, right? No college required to make 6 figures in the trades

There's a multitude of "hard" from physical exertion and peril to pure discipline drive and intellectual rigor, courage in the face of public backlash, risking everything you've worked for, on and on. One thing for certain the primary diff between poverty and prosperity is a state of MIND Pity only the 'trust fund babies' who had it TOO damn easy.

I know dozens of wealthy and almost every one has EARNED it the hard way, only exceptions are sorry "Trust Fund Babies" and no one envies them...they were robbed of purpose and character building struggle. The WORST thing that can happen to youth is to inherit a pile of money, destroys their motivation, purpose and self respect unless it's tied to earning it like the family business or ranch. Grandfather could have left all of us a few million, SO glad he didn't. Smart parents don't pass it on, Buffet, Gates, many others are giving it all away NOT making their children's lives too damned easy for their own good. That poverty breeds poverty and visa versa is matter of genetics and most of all a *state of mind*.

The vast majority in USA have plenty of opportunity, no need to even go to college now with the internet, high school can be a waste of time for many. Surely you know "everyday millionaires", they are everywhere and self made by definition. Or look at the ultra wealthy, Jobs, Bezos, Gates, Musk...none of them inherited it they created it along with fortunes for millions of others. If they are good parents they won't pass it on at all or only with highly considered conditions. At least give kids a chance to struggle on their own thru youth and mid age, it's the only source of genuine character and self respect
