Yeah it's reckless stupidity to incur big student debt without a concrete plan to pay it off fast, that starts with a lucrative career not some basket weaving crap.

@therightway2130 Exactly. I simply took longer than most would find acceptable, if I got a bit burned out, stressing over low funds I'd take a semester off to focus on my itty bitty contracting biz, build up savings and naturally worked while taking classes, often nights. I was out of town for 2nd week and half of one semester on a job, I had my calculus and physics books in cab of truck and would take ten to study a few paragraphs and think about them while doing less mentally demanding tasks to not fall behind. It all worked out, never even thought about loans or asking for money from home tho my folks could have easily assisted.
