Personal experience", or in your case, what you find interesting and focus on--doesn't tell us much. Focus an automotive fatalities and you won't be able to keep up with a single day's worth. Around 100 pre day in US alone.

The (presumably pending) Sites Reservoir will capture more still, we have lots of reservoir capacity that may not even be maxed out this winter as low as they were. Rivers matter too, the Colorado doesn't even make it to the sea and that's a damn shame, a mistake to avoid.
