  1. It's on those who live hand to mouth and make consistently bad financial choices. "If you can't pay for it twice in cash, U can't afford it." The rule to live by for ALL discretionary purchases, a new car is always discretionary, buy a cheap used that U can afford, making payments is usually a bad idea.
